Follow up task:

Choose a country from Poles Apart that the Pilchard-Brown family visited. Imagine you are the penguins and you are going to write a postcard from your chosen country. Use the template in the worksheet below to makes notes about what you saw, did and ate in that country. Be imaginative!

Imagine you are the Pilchard-Browns from Poles Apart and you are writing a postcard to a friend. Use your notes from Tuesday's lesson to write statement sentences about your trip.

 

Challenge 1: Write 4 simple statement sentences.

Challenge 2: Write 6 simple statement sentences.

Challenge 3: Write 6 statement sentences using adjectives.

Follow up task:

Use the WILF from yesterday's lesson to check your writing. Are there places you have missed capital letters? Full stops? Could add an adjective? Edit your work with green pen then publish your improved postcard on the template below. Draw a picture on the back of your completed postcard.
