Dear Parents/Grandparents/Carers,

We are excited to let you know that a new PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is going to be set up at the Infant School. The main function of the PTA is to support the school to make the learning environment as successful as possible for our children. Bringing teachers and parents together to help raise funds through various means will enable us to further strengthen our school community and provide essential resources that might not be covered by regular funding. 

The PTA is a very informal, friendly group of volunteers and anyone is more than welcome to join. We will help organize fundraisers, reach out to community groups and form a partnership with the school. You can give as much or as little of your time as you like; every bit helps!

We are holding our first meeting on Thursday 30th September at 7:30pm at The Bell in Faringdon. No need to book, just come along and maybe grab a friend to join you! We already have the school disco in planning, but it would be great to hold more events like this for the children and the school, especially given the last 18 months they have had. So come along, bring a friend and maybe even make a few more!
