Beebots
This week in ICT, we are going to continue practising programming a Beebot using our knowledge of algorithms and coding. A Beebot is a programmable toy that can move in different directions depending on the instructions you give it. Do you have a programmable toy at home you can give instructions to?
Use the power point below to remind yourself of the directions and movements a Beebot can make and practise programming a Beebot. Your challenge is to write algorithms for the Beebot on the worksheet below to help him find the fruit and animals in the savannah. Look at the example and have a go at your own. Practise with a small object like a toy car before you write your code.
