At the end of the last academic year, we asked all parents and all Year 2 children to complete a survey carried out by ‘qdp’. We would like to share with you a summary of those surveys results. Here are some of the key highlights. Please click on the document below to view the entire report.
Parent Survey
72 parents completed the survey (30% of parents).
96% agree that the school is led and managed well.
The school continues to strive to be the best it can with staff training and working in partnership with other schools to provide the best education possible.
All parents who responded felt comfortable approaching the school with questions.
All parents felt their child was safe and well supported at school.
100% agreed that their child enjoys school very much.
100% of parents said the teaching is good.
100% agreed that their child is encouraged to become independent.
Pupil Survey
71 Year 2 children completed the survey with adult support but with no direction on how to answer. No child was made to answer any questions if they didn’t want to.
All the children thought they were doing well.
99% agreed their ‘teacher was good’ and that ‘they [the teachers] were kind and friendly’.
99% of the children said they ‘knew how to be good in school’ and ‘thought they were doing their best’.
99% said the food eaten at school is good for them.
99% said the ‘grown-ups who look after us at lunch help me’.
Thank you to everyone who took time to complete the surveys. We will be carrying out another survey later in the year - it helps to keep us in touch with parents and pupils. As always, if you wish to speak to your class teacher or Mrs Hambidge, please contact the school office.
