Term 6 Week 2 -

Apple, Hazel and Chestnut were so excited this Wednesday! We had our visit from Zoolab!  We had the pleasure of meeting 5 different animals. 'Sugar Plum' the Tarantula, 'Phillipe' the Madagascan Cockroach, 'Macaroni' the African Millipede, 'George' the Giant African Snail and 'Franklin' the American Corn Snake! Ask your child to tell you which of these is not a minibeast and why!

Newsletters Term 5

Chestnut Class had a great time in the woods this week and have enjoyed finding the pulse and using instruments in Charanga.

Hazel Class have really enjoyed their multi skills sessions in Term 5! We have had fun practising relay races and using a multitude of skills in the obstacle race! We also have been developing our throwing and jumping skills. We are team players!

The Big Birthday Bash!

We loved celebrating the children whose birthdays fell between September and December. We decorated a fairy cake, made a birthday card for them, played party games and made party hats.

RealPE - Pirate adventure! This term we are looking at the personal cog in Real PE. We are trying hard to follow instructions and practise safely. We try to stay on task and keep on trying like Raj the Robot! We have been asking for help when we need to but also challenging ourselves. Each week our co-ordination and static balance is getting so much better!

Odd Socks Day - we loved celebrating the fact we are all different and unique.

Children in Need Day 2020 - We loved dressing in spots and learning about what we were raising money for.

Outside Time in Apple, Hazel & Chestnut!

Apple Class enjoyed outside time on our Canada Lane play area this week. It was lovely to be back using our big play equipment to develop our gross motor movements. Chestnut Class and Hazel Class have loved using the PE equipment on the field and the playground this week.

We rotate each week so everyone gets to use everything. Look at the fun we are having!

We have been very busy in Chestnut Class this week.
